Cannabis Extractions
There are several methods of cannabis extraction, but perhaps we can divide them into two: extractions without solvents and with solvents.
For solventless extractions all you need is water, heat, different sieves and pressure.
The best known methods in this type of cannabis extraction are Ice-O-Lator, dry sift y Rosin.
Depending on the extraction method chosen, we will need various materials such as meshes, sieves, presses, etc…
As for the most widespread solvent extractions; we have the BHO in which we use a butane gas and the DHO in which the solvent is Dimethyl ether (DME).
The method is the same regardless of the solvent, but the characteristics of the concentrate vary (color, texture, taste, density, etc.) depending on the solvent used. For this reason, there are different denominations for this type of extraction: oil, wax, shatter, honeycomb, nectar, etc.
