Athena Balance is a simple formula of potassium silicate specifically concentrated to buffer irrigation water and stabilize the ideal pH.
Silicon also benefits plant growth, stem structure, stress reduction, water use (osmoregulation), and nutrient utilization.
Commercial growers get better results, particularly with reverse osmosis (RO) water, when they are first buffered with Athena Balance.
Pure RO water has an unstable chemical structure that can trap other nutrients when added without a buffer.
Athena Balance adds just enough to the water to create a more homogeneous fertilizer solution and reduce the need to adjust pH after mixing.
The formula does not contain sediment and is compatible with mechanical dosing systems (Dosatron).
This product is not recommended for electronic dosing systems (Netafim).
What is the dosage of Athena Balance?

Good practices with this Athena product:
- Shake well before using.
- Use clean measuring instruments; do not put anything in the jar.
- Monitor Ec regularly and adjust accordingly based on crop and growth stage.
- Adjust the pH to the proper levels after mixing all the fertilizers and additives.
- Store closed in its original container at a temperature between 7 and 30ºC.
