Athena Cleanse
Athena Cleanse is formulated with the ideal (and safe) root zone optimization agent: hypochlorous acid.
This safe, mild acid is derived from salt and a proprietary electrochemical treatment process.
It results in a unique, plant-safe chemical with powerful oxidizing properties to keep the root zone clean and free of unwanted organisms and buildup.
These special properties are maintained to improve the availability of minerals and oxygen in growing media.

How do you use this root cleaner?
Cuttings
Athena Cleanse is a must have for all cloning machines and fresh cuttings. Soak cuttings in a Cleanse solution to improve cell health and boost immunity. Seedlings and cuttings treated with Cleanse have more vigor and are more likely to grow into robust plants. The roots of plants treated with Cleanse will be bright white and full of tiny root hairs.
RDWC and other recirculating hydroponic systems
Any deep water culture (DWC) or recirculating irrigation system should use Athena Cleanse to increase oxygen and nutrient availability. Irrigation water treated with Cleanse has a reduced risk of developing problems associated with overwatering and water levels. oxygen sources, such as anaerobic microbial growth and biofilm buildup. Using Cleanse in a recirculating or DWC system helps break down materials with lower solubility indices, such as mineral complexes that are no longer available to plants .Mineral buildup and blockage is one of the main causes of plant deficiencies and health problems – solve these problems with Athena Cleanse.
Rinse/Fluh
Mix Athena Cleanse in a ratio of 5-10 ml / 4 l. of water during the final flush stage to help reduce residual mineral buildup in growing media. Reducing excess minerals in the final stage of life encourages the plant to produce more oils, aromas, and flavors associated with a quality final product. It can be used both during growth and flowering if the growing medium or irrigation system develops a mineral imbalance or unwanted accumulation.
System maintenance
Irrigation systems that are regularly maintained with Athena Cleanse treatment will last longer and perform more optimally at all times. This is because Cleanse helps break down scale, mineral buildup and other organic matter that has become lodged in the system. Regular use: use a diluted mixture of 2-5 ml per 4 l. of water for regular maintenance. Severe conditions: increase rate to 5-10 ml per 4 l. of water to combat the severe conditions of the tank and growing media.
Surface treatment / cleaning
Spraying growing surfaces, work areas, and irrigation equipment with a diluted solution of Athena Cleanse (10ml per 4L of water) helps maintain a clean and trouble-free environment, free of toxic and hazardous chemicals. excellent performance and extends the life of equipment, such as irrigation system filters, by running treated water through the system on a regular basis.
