The Agrolite 600 W ballast is an electromagnetic ballast used to start Sodium (HPS) and metal halide (HM) grow bulbs.
What does the Agrolite Class II ballast include?
The lighting ballast from the Agrolite house comes with 1 meter of cable that connects the ballast to the electricity.
It also incorporates 2 meters of cable that goes from the ballast to the reflector.
Everything comes assembled so you only have to connect the cable to the reflector you want to use, screw in the grow bulb and plug it into the light so that your lighting equipment begins to work.
The ballast generates an initial discharge that is essential for the grow bulbs to turn on. Without it, it would be impossible to light them.
At what distance can I connect the reflector?
With this ballast, you can connect a reflector at a distance of up to 15 meters.
From that distance, the electric intensity will not reach enough and it will not turn on the light bulb.
