The pH 4 Growth Technology calibration liquid will allow us to calibrate digital pH meters, monitors and controllers.
Normally the pH that we obtain from tap water comes with a value of 7 depending on the area or autonomous community in which we are.
By adding our irrigation fertilizers, this value can be altered, so it is necessary to correct it to ensure proper nutrient absorption by our plants.
When we have a pH meter to control said value, we must do maintenance in order to obtain real and reliable values.
In a standard way, the meters on the market are calibrated at two points: a pH 4 that controls the acidity and a pH 7 that checks the alkalinity of the substance to be analyzed.
Remember that to carry out a correct calibration and reading we must check the state of the batteries of our meter, as well as have a liquid calibrator pH 7.
How is pH 4 Growth Technology calibration liquid used?
- Pour enough pH 4 liquid into a glass to cover the meter's electrode.
- Insert the pH meter and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- Throw away the used liquid as it may have altered its pH value.
The pH 4 liquid to calibrate pH meters includes a transparent cap that you can use as a container to calibrate the meter.
