The anti-detection plastic is made of aluminum and polyethylene to contain the thermal radiation of our crop.
When we grow in an attic or attic, it is essential to also control the temperature that our crop gives off to the outside so as not to be detected.
For the use of this plastic, it is recommended to overlap the layers to avoid small leaks that can be detected by a thermal camera.
It is advisable not only to cover the area above the spotlights with this plastic, but also walls so that the insulation is complete.
The plastic, in addition to being anti-thermal, is reflective, so it is not necessary to add any Mylar or diamond-type plastic to achieve maximum luminosity in our crop.
Remember to measure the growing space well and add a little more as you need, calculating about 2-3 cm for each overlap that we need.
In order to fix it to our room, we can do it with impact glue; or with reinforced tape if by chance we need to move the crop.
Anti-detection plastic has the following advantages:
- Thermal cameras do not detect the heat of the crop.
- Plants do not suffer sudden temperature changes.
- Reflects light to plants.
The plastic is semi-rigid due to its metal foil-based composition.
