Blumat automatic irrigation system for deposit (3 floors)

The Blumat automatic irrigation system for tanks uses the porous stone technique to supply the necessary water to the plants during your absence.

First, fill with water and seal each cone. The suction tube must be free of air, carefully purge the air bubbles from the tube by immersing it in the water so that it fills.
Place the cones in the pots and submerge the tip of the Blumat in the water tank of your choice. The larger the tank, the longer the irrigation will last.

As the soil dries out, the ceramic cone distributes the water little by little into the soil creating a negative pressure inside the cone. The underpressure causes water to be sucked in from the nearby water container.

The assembly of the Blumat automatic irrigation system for a tank for 3 floors is:

1. Unscrew the green irrigation head and fill the ceramic sensor with water up to the brim.
2. Screw it back on, tightening up to the stop ring. The sensor must be hermetically sealed.
3. Leave the Blumat cone for 15 minutes in water. Water the soil of the plants well beforehand.
4. Place a Blumat cone in each pot with moist soil and lead the pipe to the water tank.

Growlet tip:

If you place the tank a little higher than the pots, the amount of water that will come out of the Blumat cone will be greater than if you leave the tank at the same level. This is very interesting because it depends on the size of the pot or the plant itself, you must adjust the irrigation and this is a good way to do it with this system.
