TrolMaster AMP-2 connects the AQUA-X irrigation controller to a set of precision PH/EC and temperature probes to constantly measure the pH/EC and temperature of irrigation water or an irrigation reservoir.
The AMP-2 connector works with the Ec Trolmaster PCT-1 and PTC-2 probes and the PPH-1 and PPH-2 pH probes.
Once connected to AQUA-X, the AMP-2 will display sensor data in AQUA-X and on the mobile app.
Minimum and maximum values can be set on the AQUA-X controller which generates a notification when the pH/EC or temperature is outside the configured limits.

How is the TrolMaster Sensor Board connected?
Connection with AQUA-X Controller
- Use of male-male signal cable to connect the TrolMaster AMP-2 to the AQUA-X controller.
- Connect the MIN-DIN cable connector of the signal cable to the terminal on the sensor board at the bottom of the AQUA-X controller.
- Then connect the opposite mini-DIN wire connector to the system (middle) terminal on the bottom of the sensor board.
Ph probe connection
- Plug the pH sensor's BNC connector into the pH sensor port (BNC terminal) on the bottom of the sensor board.
- Rotate the BNC connector until it stops.
Ec/Temp probe connection.
- Plug the EC/TEMP sensor Mini-DIN connector into the EC/TEMP sensor port on the right hand terminal.
