Canna clay is a hydroponic growing medium that can also be used as drainage for coco or soil pots.
The arlita is the hydroponic substrate most used by growers for its effectiveness and for the ease of cleaning it and reusing it the next harvest.
Arlita is clay cooked under high temperatures, which generates a very porous substrate.
Another of the most common uses of clay is for the drainage of pots.
It is placed about 3/5 cm. of clay at the bottom of the pots and then filled with soil or coconut substrate.
In this way we ensure that the excess water from the irrigation drains well and does not flood the substrate of the pot.
