The Hortilight HPS bulb is suitable for growth and flowering in our crops thanks to the orange color of its spectrum (2.100ºK).
You will only have to modify the photoperiod from 18/6 to 12/12 for the plants to start flowering.
In terms of quality/price, the Hortilight bulbs are not bad, since they manage to emit up to 70.000 lumens with 600 W ballasts and, as you can see, their price is very good.
This bulb for lighting indoor crops, in addition to being cheap, manages to illuminate your growing area both in the growth phase and in the flowering phase.
It is also a good light bulb since it is economical and allows you to start with little money to cultivate while you learn.
It is not the bulb that emits the most light but it does its job and to begin with it is very good.
Remember that to make it work you need a ballast or with a reflector so that it expels the light towards the plants.
Hortilight Bulb Lumens:
- 250W – 30.000lm.
- 400W – 45.000lm.
- 600W – 70.000lm.
Growlet tip:
- Write down in the light bulb box the day you start using it to remember to replace it at 15.000 p.m. of work.
- Although it may not seem like it, it is losing effectiveness, you pay the same light and you get less harvest for not having changed it.
