Un evaporator rotary solvent such as the PGB002 is a device used in chemical laboratories for the efficient and gentle removal of solvents of the samples by evaporation.

The rotary evaporation process is most often used to separate solvents such as butane of the BHO extractions with low boiling points from liquid compounds, if there is minimal coevaporation (azeotropic behavior) and a sufficient difference in boiling points at the chosen temperature and reduced pressure.

Thanks to rotary evaporator PGB002 you can purge the butane your BHO extractions at a constant temperature that you choose.

new rotary evaporators PGB002 of 500 ml. they come with a modular hot water bath, vertical glassware and digital temperature/rotation control. Its optimized bath volume allows for fast heating times. The condenser unit has specially designed glass tubes that use the surface area extremely efficiently. Another important aspect of the SolventVap is the safety features, which include dry-running protection, water bath overtemperature shutdown protection, and electrical surge protection.

The rotary evaporator features a worm gear motor, which provides constant rotation at speeds from 10 to 90 rpm.

When the flask containing the solvent is rotated, it continuously transfers a thin layer of liquid over the entire internal surface. This gives a very large surface area for evaporation, which is caused by the gentle heating of the hot water bath.

The rotation system is provided with a special seal that allows the apparatus to be placed under vacuum, effectively reducing the boiling point of the solvents and eliminating the vapor phase, making the process much more efficient.

Each unit is also equipped with an easy-to-use vacuum release system and continuous feed system, which allows solvent to be constantly drawn into the flask without the need to stop operation.

The digital hot water bath operates from room temperature to 100°C with analog temperature control. The heating coils are located directly inside the pan for the most efficient heating possible. A built-in overheat protector will shut off the power, if the regulator fails.
