The sediment filter for irrigation pipes is a fundamental piece in an automatic irrigation system since it is responsible for collecting the particles (residues of fertilizers, earth, leaves...) found in the irrigation water, with which we achieve the following advantages:

  • Droppers do not clog.
  • The irrigation circuit remains cleaner.

The sediment filter for irrigation pipes is installed just after the irrigation pump so that the water that leaves the irrigation tank passes through it as soon as possible and is filtered towards the rest of the automatic irrigation system.

The irrigation pipe filter is an essential accessory for growers who have automatic irrigation.

The salts from our fertilizers, as well as impurities from the water; They can block both capillaries and irrigation pipes.

Thanks to this simple accessory, it will help us keep the irrigation pump and drippers clean.

Both the 16 mm and the 3/4 inch (19,05 mm) formats have easy access for disassembly and easy cleaning throughout the growing cycle.

Both formats incorporate a distinctive mark indicating the water flow for its correct installation.

This way we will avoid problems in the irrigation system.

To avoid a possible accumulation of sediments in our tanks, we recommend the use of recirculation pumps to keep the water moving.

How is the irrigation pipe filter installed?

It is inserted between the irrigation pump and the drippers and thus, if any residue goes up through the irrigation system, it is trapped in the filter.

Its cleaning is very simple, just unscrew the lid and remove the filter mesh to clean it under tap water.
