Thanks to the luxmeter you will be able to know if you have to change the bulb or bring the lighting equipment closer.
It is very useful when doing multi-computer installations to know how to distribute them.
Instructions for use of the VDL luxmeter:
1. Turn on the meter and place the sensor parallel to the ground, just below the equipment and at the top of the plants.
2. Set the switch between x1, x10, x100.
The display shows "1" if the measured light source is too intense and "0" if it is a lower setting than needed. At this point, adjust the switch to a higher or lower value to obtain an accurate reading.
3. Multiply the screen number by the switch selection x1, x10 and x100. The result is the number of lux your plants receive.
What is a LUX?
1 Lux is 1 Lumen per square meter.
How many lumens do plants need?
Rooting and cuttings: 1.000 – 5.000 lumen
Growth: 15.000 – 20.000 lumens
Bloom: 40.000 – 50.000 lumens
Mother plants: 10.000 – 15.000 lumen
