The pH 7.01 GrowthTechnology calibrator liquid allows you to give a real value to digital pH meters.
Throughout the crop, we must control the pH values of our irrigation water to ensure that our plants absorb nutrients correctly.
The use of well-adjusted meters is essential, whether our cultivation is on land, coconut or hydro.
Depending on the use of our pH meters, we must calibrate them once a month for maintenance to ensure a correct reading.
Remember to replace the batteries of your meter every 9-12 months for a correct calibration.
How do we use pH 7.01 GrowthTechnology calibrator liquid?
- Pour some of the liquid into a glass and soak the meter for a couple of minutes until the meter reads steady.
- Depending on the type of meter, we must turn the calibration screw until measurement 7.01 is obtained or insert it into the liquid when requested if it is automatic.
- Once calibrated, turn off the meter and put it in a cleaning liquid or distilled water before putting it in the calibration liquid 4 or its storage.
- Do not reuse the liquid from the glass after using it, doing this you can adulterate the contents of the entire container.
How is a pH meter calibrated?
In most cases, the meters have a hole in the back where a screw is housed.
If we turn this screw, we will see that the values on the screen move.
But there are other meters that calibrate automatically, so we must follow the manufacturer's instructions.
