This white square growing pot is designed to protect roots from temperature.
Black pots tend to attract and retain more solar heat; being able to generate problems derived from dehydration or stress.
In terrace or outdoor crops, the sun tends to heat up the black pots and can cause too rapid a loss of moisture, or even cook the roots.
This makes the white pots an ideal ally for outdoor cultivation where the sun heats up the black pots too much.
Being square and tall, the cultivation space is better used than with round pots and its raised bottom with a grid favors proper drainage of excess water.
