What is the difference between Mapito and rock wool?

About the mapito we can say in comparison to the rock wool that it is easier to be able to move the plants to prune them, manipulate them to make ties in the same pot or with fastening meshes.

How is it fertilized by cultivating with Mapito?

The feed is less compared to what we can use with rock wool. The reason is an improvement in the oxygenation of the root system and consequently a greater absorption of the nutrients that it has around it, requiring less amount of fertilizers compared to other substrates.

But we will always use specific fertilizers for hydroponic cultivation.
