BioTabs Mycotrex: Fungi for Roots

BioTabs Mycotrex corrects the lack of beneficial fungi and bacteria in our soil. Potting soil is always supplied sterile and free of pathogens or weed seeds. This is why most growing medium mixes are treated at high temperatures, which also destroys helpful mycorrhizae and beneficial soil bacteria.

The absence of beneficial bacteria makes crops very vulnerable. Mycorrhizae are beneficial soil fungi that coexist in symbiosis with plants. They expand the effective surface area of ​​the roots by acting as an extension of the roots. This leads to a 700% increase in the absorption capacity of the root system, considerably facilitating the consumption of water and nutrients by the plants.

Mycotrex is a mixture of 9 different types of mycorrhizal fungi, consisting of spores from the genera Glomus claraideus, Glomus etunicatum, Glomus clarum,Glomus sp., Glomus microaggregatum, Glomus intraradices, Glomus mosseae,Glomus geosporum and Entrophosporacolombiana. The combination of these spores will germinate and colonize the root system. Thus, the so-called vesicular-arbuscular mycorrhizae are established, which greatly increase the absorption capacity of the roots. In addition, the very fine hyphae penetrate deep into the porosity of the soil, which allows them to transform and ingest all the available nutrients in the amounts that the plant needs.

Beneficial rhizobacteria and natural humic acids are also included in Mycotrex to encourage early root development.
