What is the composition of pH – Mills Nutrients?
PH – from Mills Nutrients:
- Growth (Growth): 8,4% Nitric Nitrogen (NO3-N)
- Bloom (Flowering): 42,5% Phosphorus Oxide (P2O5)
How is Mills pH used?
You have to keep in mind that the first pH minus application may not lower the pH level of the irrigation water as expected.
That's because the protons in the pH corrector react with the carbonates in the water.
The free protons after the reaction will be responsible for lowering the pH of the irrigation water.
If you add a second application of the same amount of pH less, this time it will lower the pH level of the water much more.
The carbonates in the water have already been "cancelled" in the previous application and the protons in this second application can be fully dedicated to lowering the acidity of the irrigation water.
We all know the importance of having the PH controlled in our irrigation nutrient solutions. Because if the PH is out of the proper range, our plants will not properly assimilate the nutrient from the solution.
With this specific product from the Mills Nutrients range, we lower the PH of the nutrient solution.
