Sphagnum from Chile: Substrate for vertical crops

6,55  VAT included

The Sphagnum from the Chilean islands of Chiloé is the best substrate that can be used in vertical gardens where we need the plants to take root as soon as possible and for the substrate to supply the water with the nutrients that we pump from the irrigation tank.

Unlike other mosses, the Chiloé Sphagnum hardly degrades and allows a cleaning both in the root zone and in the irrigation tank that is not achieved with other mosses.

Sphagnum can also be mixed with traditional substrates or soils to provide greater water retention (10 grams of Sphagnum retain the same water as 250 grams of traditional substrate) and to improve root aeration, achieving faster root development.
